Hello and thank you for checking out my site - picConnect! So who am I and why did I create another dating site? Answers to these questions are pretty simple.
I have always wanted to create a dating site that was fun, easy to use but mostly really just worked! I have done my share of online dating and never found them fun and they did a really bad job of finding me compatible matches. I mean bad. I filled in these really long profiles and then some complicated algorithm tried to decide who I was compatible with. Fail.
People that I found most compatible were those that I shared a significant amount of commonalities. The more we 'saw life the same way' the better we clicked. Then it hit me, why not create a dating site that simply did that. Tell me what you like and dislike, what's important to you and I'll find your closest matches. PicConnect.com was born.
PicConnect's concept was dreamt up, designed and developed by me. Yep, one individual. No boardrooms, no long meetings, no corporate environment. Just me, my wife, a couple investors, my two cats and a passion to create something that would really help people find their mate.
And in case you're interested, I own a couple other businesses too. I am the founder and chief architect of a design, development and marketing shop called Bright Pixel Studios, a lead collecting company called Fresh Florida Biz and a new start-up adventure in the works called My Scavenger Chase. So I'm pretty busy.
